Haskell picks tart as his desert island treat

Bakewell tart would be top of the list for James Haskell if he could choose his food and drink as a desert island castaway.

The England and Wasps flanker would stick with soft drinks of coffee and water with not a beer in sight, but his two main courses are not out of the health and fitness guidebook. He would plump for burgers and bangers ’n’ mash.

Haskell revealed his choices in an exclusive video for Rugby Lives.

“My desert island dishes would be flat white, soda water and lime,” he said.

And he continued his lonely menu: “Big Mac with fries, sausage-mash, onion gravy and Bakewell tart and custard.”
