James Haskell poked fun at his England team-mates George Ford and Luther Burrell as they waited for a flight.
In an exclusive video, which he filmed for Rugby Lives, the Wasps flanker found Ford eating a pie before taking off for Dubai ahead of England’s tour of Australia.
Haskell quizzed the Bath fly-half about his movie choice on the plane, cheekily asking: “What are you going to watch, 27 Dresses again or Princess Diaries?”
“Jungle Book,” said Ford, and Haskell quipped: “Well you’re not old enough, are you? You’ve got to be over 18.”
Joking about fly-half Ford’s below-par kicking performance in England’s recent game against Wales, Haskell pointed downwards and said: “Shares in Adidas went like that…”
He added: “How many times have I made that joke this week?
“A lot! Four or five times,” Ford replied.
Luther Burrell was avoiding pies and eating fruit after England coach Eddie Jones labelled him overweight.
The Northampton Saints centre said: “I’ve got a green tea. I don’t know if you saw it in his press conference in the week, he happened to mention that I was grossly overweight when I came in to the Six Nations, so cheers Eddie, mate.
“So I’m on the green tea diet and as you can see I’ve been nibbling on my grapes.”
